Kathryn Cook was born December 23, 1951 in St. Louis, Missouri. She graduated cum laude from Anderson College in 1973 and received her Master's degree from Butler University in 1975. After teaching for ten years, Mrs. Cook pursued her law degree at Indiana University, where she was an associate editor of the Indiana Law Review, graduating magna cum laude in 1985. She was admitted to practice law in Indiana in January 1986, and she is certified as a Board Certified Indiana Trust and Estate Lawyer. Mrs. Cook's primary areas of practice include estate planning and administration, real estate, education law, and taxation-related matters.
Mrs. Cook was a Clinton County deputy prosecutor from 1988 to 1996. She presently serves as counsel to the Rossville Consolidated School District and Cicero Christian Church. Her community involvements include membership on the board of directors for the Clinton County Economic Advancement Foundation and the Salvation Army Advisory Board.
